Rugby Ready is Big Rig Rugby’s progressive development class for 12–15 year olds who want to build strong, confident rugby foundations and take the next step in their playing journey. Designed around skill acquisition and enjoyment, sessions focus on developing core rugby skills including passing, catching, tackling, rucking, evasion and kicking, all delivered through engaging, game-based activities.
Alongside technical skill development, Rugby Ready introduces players to the early stages of strength and conditioning, helping them learn how to move well, develop coordination, and build physical confidence in an age-appropriate and safe way.
Underpinned by Big Rig Rugby’s philosophy of building foundations to play at the highest level, Rugby Ready supports players to grow in skill, confidence and game understanding while fostering a lifelong love of rugby.
