Rugby Bairns is Big Rig Rugby’s fun, inclusive adult-and-child class designed to build the foundations of movement and rugby for children aged 3.5–5 years.
Rooted in Big Rig Rugby’s ethos of building foundations for players to play at their highest level, Rugby Bairns focuses on developing core movement skills such as running, balance, coordination, catching and confidence through engaging, play-based rugby activities. Sessions are delivered in a safe, energetic and positive environment, with parents and carers actively involved to support learning, enjoyment and connection.
Rugby Bairns is about having fun, building confidence, and giving every child the best possible start to their rugby and physical development journey.
Our 60 minute session includes 45 minutes of structured delivery by one of our qualified coaches and 15 minutes of free play (a chance for parents to grab a coffee!)
